Casey Jonkmans (pictured left) has been appointed to the board of local fiduciary company, Imperium Trust.

Locally born and educated, Casey has over 17 years’ experience in the fiduciary sector, and has worked for both large global institutions as well as smaller independent organisations. With particular expertise in family wealth planning, he has managed portfolios of clients based around the globe and has an in-depth understanding of multi-jurisdictional structuring.

David Gilmour, director of Imperium commented:

Casey’s appointment provides us with valuable additional experience and a network of intermediaries and solution providers to enhance the opportunities available to Imperium’s existing and future clients. I am sure Casey will make a key contribution to our future growth strategy.

Casey is looking forward to delivering top quality service to his new clients:

In a small company the decision-making process is inevitably quicker than in a large organisation; this means that we can react swiftly to clients’ needs and therefore deliver impeccable levels of service.

Casey is fully STEP qualified, a member of the Institute of Directors (IOD) and currently completing the IOD’s Diploma in Company Direction.

In addition  we have also appointed a new Client Accountant and Trust Administrator, Sol Phillips who has joined our ever-growing team.

Previously with Butterfield Trust where he spent over five years in a client accounting position, Sol will be responsible for preparing financial statements and bookkeeping as well as supporting the trust management team with the day-to-day administration of client portfolios.
